Bridal make-up
Before a wedding I always suggest a trial. It is the moment to check the colours in daylight, see how the make-up looks in photos and calmly adjust anything that doesn’t suit you. That way there are no surprises on the day.
For the trial, bring a photo of the dress or its colour, your hairstyle if you have chosen it, and any inspiration you like. Book your wedding date early – in the season, Saturdays fill up quickly.
Occasion make-up
Communion, christening, prom, a family wedding, a photo shoot. I match the make-up to the time of day, your outfit and how comfortable you feel with stronger colours. If you wear subtle make-up every day, I won’t turn you into someone else.
How to prepare your skin
Ideally your skin should be well hydrated and calm. Don’t try new exfoliating treatments in the days before the event. If you need a refresh, choose a skincare facial a few days in advance.

For a wedding, yes. It is the only way to check the colours and how long it lasts without any stress.
How far in advance should I book for a wedding?
As early as possible, especially for Saturdays in the season. Get in touch as soon as you know the date – I will check the calendar straight away.
