How I choose the shape
I don’t use a stencil. I look at your features, the spacing of your eyes and how your brows grow naturally. The aim is a face that looks rested – not brows that are the first thing people notice.
If you have a photo of brows you like, show me. I will tell you how much of it is possible with your hairs and what would need growing out first.
Henna
Henna darkens the hairs and defines their line. We choose the shade to suit your hair and skin tone – usually a shade or two towards a natural look. How long it lasts depends on your skin and care; I will explain what to watch out for at your visit.
Shaping
Shaping tidies up the outline: I remove hairs outside the line we have agreed on. At the first visit I tend to leave more rather than less – it is easier to shorten brows than to grow them back.
Before your visit
If you are prone to allergies or a tint has ever caused a reaction, please tell me when you book. I don’t apply henna to irritated skin or to freshly tanned skin around the eyes.

How long does brow henna last?
It depends on your skin, your skincare and how often you wash and exfoliate the brow area. At your visit I will tell you what to avoid so the colour lasts longer.
Does shaping hurt?
It is uncomfortable but quick. With regular visits there is less and less to remove, so it feels much easier.
